Big womp.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

After about half an hour of staring into space, I finally realized what has been keeping me from making the most of each day. I am in need of another getaway. The hair against the wind type of moment in the car packed with good and fun people while the music is near on blast. Planned or spontaneous, anything will do at this point. To top that, I would like to see a couple of people I haven't seen in a while. And even those who I'm simply just missing :)

"Why so serious?"

From the man who brought you the movie that ultimately melted faces, The Dark Knight's controversial character, Heath Ledger, performs on his last film that will be out in theaters as an opening for the year 2010. Alongside with the bold Johnny Depp, this movie just might be something to look forward to.

Introducing: Cuddie Carey, Mr. Shoester, and "R.I.P." Mr. M

1st - AP US History
2nd - AP English
3rd - Drama
4th - Pre Calculus
5th - Filipino 3
6th - Physics

Subject to change. I'm not going to be suicidal this year because I almost drowned myself trying to balance one class after the other like 6 stack of hard bound books on both hands. I love the AP History class; Mr. Carey is one of the coolest teachers at Bethel. And I don't mean cool as in he would give you a high five everytime you crack a joke and say, "Good job, homie." I mean this mostly in an academic way. I have no passion for history, but you just really get yourself starstrucked once you take the time to ponder on the lessons, and even his analysis (probably coming from him being a Philosophy and Art Major.) However, I might not be staying there for long. I'm straightening myself out this year and taking it one step at a time and hopefully I get back on my straight A's (or close) track. If it happens.

I know it looks like much blabbering at this point, but try to bear with me.

David Schuster is my German, Jewish, Scottish, (and whatever else generic European) Drama club instructor who speak English, Portuguese, Italian, and French. I can't even begin to list the colleges he's been to, including the Fine Arts Theater Production in the honorable UCLA. He's new to the school, and I think he's also new to the Vallejo City Unified School District. Oh do I feel bad for him. I don't think he's getting the respect he deserves from some of these ungrateful, obnoxious little kids. Anyways, I like the fact that this guy knows a lot of Shakespeare, not to mention he HAS them memorized and performed in front of the class with much passion and enthusiasm. I didn't initially sign up for the class, but I just thought he was something to look forward to. I wonder if I'm going to stay in his class after my expecting schedule change..

And to lay it all out there, Yes, Mr. Christian Manansala is officially out of Bethel and switched to Hogan. Boy is that guy FAMOUS. The whole upperclassmen were in chaos trying to clear up the news if he was really gone. And for those of you who don't know him, he is not missed for being the "nicest, most smartest teacher in school," but rather his weird, enthusiastic class routines, his attempt in singing the national anthem in opera style, his stomach-hurting quotes such as "Cast the evil spirits," "Super Duper Scalawags," and "Ha suy ha." Or whatever the heck else he kept saying all year long. Bottom line is, he is going to be missed no matter how hard his one hour long handouts were. I mean, WOMP, this guy has been on Youtube videos for years now.

"I wouldn't change one second of our life together"

The Time Traveler's Wife. A novel published in 2003. "Classified as both science fiction and romance, examines issues of love, loss, and free will. In particular, it uses time travel to explore miscommunication and distance in relationships, and investigates deeper existential questions."

As all good readers know, books are far more rich than the movies made after them. Although this is also true with the newly released film, the movie definitely remains heartfelt. I recommend the movie to those who enjoy both classy yet modern type of romantic novels. Or plainly, for those who can appreciate a tear-jerker movie similar to The Notebook and A Walk to Remember, which of course most of you recognize from the main character of The Notebook herself, Rachel McAdams.

I watched this with good company, got teary-eyed as the story unfold towards the ending, suddenly laughed at how much Maxinne and I were trying to hold the tears, then went to Josh's house to watch UFC and the boys wrestle each other on the carpet, and finally, got home at almost 2 in the morning. Hands down, it was a good night.

But one other cutesy remains unwatched for me. 500 Days of Summer

The pressure's on, both hearts beat like a metronome

This pair of bright red lowcut boots please? I saved a lot of my favorite outfits on my Fashion folder coming from lookbook, and everytime I browse through them, I just about melt. Surely I won't be able to own half the things I want on those pictures, but they inspire me on my own style. One thing is sure though, I want to buy a Joy Division shirt. Big sigh.

Summer Project Update? I know everyone's been chasing their own tails about all the paperwork for the first day of school. I hate it when you know you have another long period of schooling and still there is nothing else but stress and pressure. I suppose a little sucking up would do the trick.. for now.

Darling, we met in San Francisco

August 9, 2009 - The car was packed, and it was during a hot Summer day when we were speeding left and right from Vallejo to the busy streets of San Francisco. Arrived at noon to watch a couple of performers on stage while we were sitting on the stairs, baking under the heat. Walked around Yerba Buena Garden and Mission Street to grab a few snacks and drinks, then bumping into our friends which led to yet another round of walking around and around looking for thrift items and meeting new people. Saw a few familiar faces, and then witnessed the dance battle with our friend Angelina, who happened to be close to the dancers as well. Made new friends and chilled for the rest of the night. The guys walked us to the BART station on Mission St., said our goodbye, and relaxed on bart as we reminisced on a few fond memories. Despite the heat and a few moments of hiding away from stalkers, I would say that this day at the city was one of the most interesting ones I've had.

To all night owls

An excerpt from the online article.

The annual Perseid meteor shower is expected to put on a good show this week for those willing to get up in the wee hours of the morning and wait patiently for the shooting stars. In North America, the best time to watch will be between midnight to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2009.

Summer Nights, I am going to miss you <3

The Youth Are Getting Restless

I feel like there's an hour glass everywhere I go. The few days of Summer vacation is starting to get the best of me. But in the meantime, I'm doing quite well in terms of occupying myself and getting out of the house to enjoy the day and/or night in addition to clearing my head. Love Pentagon. That's another thing on my head, I'm being pulled left and right.

I have got to brush it off and see where it goes. But what can we do to prevent bad things from happening? One action could mean the total opposite to another; good intentions could end up in a bad situation. The truth of the matter is, Everyone's a critic.

P.S. I really like the top left pair, I would be thrilled if I had one of my own.

I'm in a complete sigh, I don't see much guys wear this (not that I only care about these things. It's just my favorites.) Someone find me one who is not from Hollywood who has an egotistic and superficial character.
Come to think of it, I honestly used to admire you. I would go off thinking you're a good person with one of the most heart melting, cutest faces who deserved someone just as good, if not better, than you are. But ironically, I am now even more thankful for the situation that opened my eyes about a big part of your personality. I hope you fix your insecurity and act like the mature person I used to believe you were.

Here's your shoes, Miss

Shopping, shopping, and more shopping. But walking around Vacaville during Summer in 2 inch heels is NOT the business. Besides the jaw dropping prices of Gucci, Coach, and Banana Republic items, I came across Rue 21. It's nothing big, but it's like a combination of Hot Topic and Wet Seal. I bought a new simple pair of flats, and it's now one of my favorites because of how comfortable it feels. Catch is, the cashier who I purchased my shoes from kept smiling, which gave Ellaine another reason to tease me throughout the day. The receipt said his name was Justin, and since I just recently had a haircut briefly after Selena Gomez did (And no, that was not my intention), she refers to the cashier guy as 'Justin Russo,' which is Selena's brother on the comedy show, Wizards of Waverly Place. Hmm, now that I know, he DID resemble his style. Anyways, I got back in town and took a dip in the jacuzzi because frankly, I was already wishing I could sleepwalk my way through the rest of the night. I'm beat, and I've got too much in my mind.

Waiting In Vain

This song is soothing, I feel like I'm in a classy cruise line sitting on a table with fine wine and white silk laces while the music plays and the lights are dimmed.

One foot in, one foot out

Lately I've only been expressing my thoughts figuratively in a matter of short phrases. I can't seem to find the time to sit here and actually evaluate on my thoughts and feelings. July 31st I had my haircut--the shortest I've had it in years. Well it's August now, I have got to set myself in a new phase. Meanwhile, the rest of my summer consist of the potential summer camp, kick-its, and potential outings with a couple of friends. The minimun would be focused on my 8 (or more) handwritten pages for my Advanced Placement U.S. History class. Emotionally, I've got dreams racing through my head and imagination rolling like an old cinematic film. It seems to me like you're still dancing around the fire, while I have one foot in and one foot out.
