It's hot, and so are you

I'm not really going to update on anything right now, mostly because it's blazing hot and I don't want to sit here explaining myself while I sweat and nearly suffocate.

But things have been peachy. Tired again because I got home late.
Finally stopped neglecting Twitter, and I don't know how long I would manage to keep that up. Follow me if you have one.

This song, everyday

Sometimes I feel
Like I dont have a partner
Sometimes I feel
Like my only friend
Is the city I live in
The city of angel
Lonely as I am
Together we cry

I drive on her streets
cause shes my companion
I walk through her hills
cause she knows who I am
She sees my good deeds
And she kisses me windy
I never worry
Now that is a lie

I dont ever want to feel
Like I did that day
Take me to the place I love
Take me all the way

Its hard to believe
That theres nobody out there
Its hard to believe
That Im all alone
At least I have her love
The city she loves me
Lonely as I am
Together we cry

These bedroom walls are our passageways.

If ever I finish designing, fixing, painting, and decorating my room, It would be like being in all places at once. It'll take some time, but I'm ready to put my ideas into work.

Speaking of ideas,

My boyfriend and I will have a shopping day together. Not the aww-how-cute-is-that kind of shopping, but the lets-look-into-these-shops-and-be-creative kind of shopping (if that even made sense). Walking and sweating all day under the heat of the sun in the crowded streets, browsing endlessly across roads.. 'til the chill of the night hits and we relax under the street lights with shopping bags in our hands.

But I don't have a boyfriend.

I love you for a hundred reasons,

but most of all I love you cause you're you.

I had a dream about a dream.

I was bored and curious, so I took this one quiz on Facebook.

You're modern and retro at the same time. You are well-rounded and open to new styles, new music, and new ideas. More than open to it, you are on the constant look-out for the latest and greatest in everything. Entertainment and media are on a high priority for you, but you still find the time to fit in those other things like school and work. Comedies are your favorite type of entertainment, and you are a devoted fan to your favorite TV shows and movies. You're the one that can quote all the lines & knows all the trivia. Your inner-nerd is insatiable, but so is your appetite for adventure and the deeper meaning of life.

-----------------------------------

There's been so much going on that I simply can't decide to start on one subject. But I distinctly remember the North American Pirate Festival that was held at the Vallejo Waterfront on Father's Day. There were real funky outfits, souvenirs, and antiques. When you get the hang of it, you'd be surprised how cool it was even just walking around and watching the pirate-dressed actors using real sabers, rifles, and cannons. They designed a ship with sails to make it look as close to a real pirate ship as possible, along with their act of firing cannon balls back and fort to the field. Smoke was practically covering the whole site.

San Francisco twice in one week, definitely an adventure, hands down. I've had about five hours of sleep each night due to coming home late, and then waking up early to get ready again. My bones are sore; we practically went hiking on Fort Miley Golden Gate, walking, jogging, running, and climbing rigid and long stairs which led to yet another long trail and steep hills.
Watched the sunset, oh how corny is that. But if you were at the same exact spot where I was, you'd say the same. It was beautiful. Got home at nearly midnight, passed out at around two or three in the morning.

Sorry for the lack of pictures. Left all the cameras at home, and even worse, my phone died right when we got to the Fort.
I loved that day.

I love the quiet of the night time,

When the sun has drowned in a deathly sea
I can feel my heart beating as i speed from
The sense of time catching up with me
The sky set out like a pathway
But who decides which road we take
As people drift into a dream world
I close my eyes as my hands shake and when i see a new day
Who’s driving this anyway
I picture my own grave
Cause fears got a hold on me

--Death by White Lies

Thoughts. I think I'm always going to have a crush on you. I know that it has always been in the back of my head, but I wonder when I'll finally face it. I guess doubt is getting in the way, fearing that, in the end, I would say, "What in the world was I thinking?" Decisions really do make an impact, but since I've learned to accept it, I've grown to realize a few lessons.

Saturday was a blast, I don't even know where to begin. I listened to my iPod on the way to San Rafael, which was why I kept singing "Im Shakin" by Rooney for pretty much four consecutive hours once we arrived. Got to see Arthur, Jon, and Jaytee once again (Alshelyn wasn't able to go though). I haven't played Volleyball in so long, I think that is why my bones felt sore yesterday haha. We were divided into four teams, the winning team gets the money. I don't really feel like going into detail, but overall it was fun. I was nearly passed out on the way home, so once I was in the house I managed to keep myself together. Then of course, I knocked out soon after that. Until next time.

P.S. My Techno side is kicking in again. So if you are ready for a what-the-fuck-was-that reaction, then you should watch and listen to this music video.

Oh Crystal Castles, you never fail me.

Tickles My Fancy

While I was waiting for Clarisse's call to hit up her graduation party, I decided to browse through the Seventeen and Nylon Magazines once again after two years of ignoring it. I must say, these fashion trends are becoming more and more creative, heading towards the urban standards. Personally, my style would consist of classical glamour, urban, and retro influenced combination. One day I would feel like wearing gold accessories, a ruffled shirt, elongated necklaces, and a bright pair of heels; another day with an off-the-shoulder shirt, vintage purse, and plaid flats; and yet a different day with a revolver print t-shirt, thick black bracelets, and an army green hat. Nevertheless, my mixture would eventually evolve into these fascinating trends.

First off, Bohemian + glamour + urban = Vanessa Hudgens. I prefer her choice of clothing for Fall and Winter clothes, and an exception of a few Summer outfits. I was never fond of bright solid colors like pink and yellow, so having an urban influenced style on ger glam reflected my style in a way.

And for the trend setters, here are the ones who inspired me to reorganize my wardrobe for a more updated look. It's not that I would literally buy all of these, but rather just looking at them just about makes me melt to my knees.
Katy Perry sets the trend in a creative and daring way. As much as how bold her character is, I don't think I would be able to pull it off like she does. Like I said, bright colors are not my thing, but this girl can "rock you like a hurricane."

Zooey Deschanel. And please don't mistake the pictures above as Zooey. They are two totally different women, but with unbelievably similar faces that they almost seem cloned. Either way, their fashion taste is amazing.

There are others who have the same style influence such as the American Native Style influenced actress, Mary-Kate Olsen. All these trends will soar this summer, evolving into a more complex stye as winter appoaches once again. Until then, other local models and admirers continue to explore stores such as American Apparel, Urban Outfitters, Karmaloop, Heritage 1981, Anthropologie, Topshop, and Forever 21.

Oh Zooey, you are too cute.

To glorify my platinum soul

When it comes to beats and remixes of indie, rock, and electro, Me Gusta and N.A.S.A. are my top notchers. But these rad beat makers almost pass up to how much I love both. I would love love love to meet them all one day.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet the LA Riots

We will have no regrets

I've always been diversed with the music genres, but I have come to like Indie and Techno more and more. To me there is something about them that never fades.

SATURDAY - Pista '09. Semi-crackin, got to see a lot of people. There were two boys who came up to us and wanted to talk. They were asking for our numbers, and I thought, "Damn these guys have some tough guts for their age." And by that I mean that they literally looked like middle schoolers. Didn't get to acknowlede them though (not to be mean), but I was on the phone. Left the place and went to a party. Saw that cutie patootie :) Danced and got hella tired. Home at around 11 to crash.

SUNDAY - Sarah's house for a video project. I seriously think we're getting a B, or maybe even a C, on this one because we did not have one single scene where we didn't mess up. The whole day pretty much went to laughing, eating, laughing, and more eating. Went out to eat at Applebees with only Vy, Lena, and Sarah because Rachel had to go. When I ordered Strawberry Daquiri, the waiter asked if I wanted alcohol. And I looked at the girls because I thought he was kidding. Well, he wasn't. And since then the girls kept teasing me to leave my number as his tip. Hah, nah it's cooooo. Got home at around 10. Actually studied for the honors English finals, which was by the way nearly 20 damn pages long. I was so confident with my answers, until I freakin ran out of time.

Tough bananas.

June 19th, get there

Metamorphosis

Ending this school year is finally starting to hit me. Some of my really good friends had their last day today, and they're off for their graduation practice. I wasn't even showing any concern about it until today when I saw her struggling to keep herself from crying.. I suppose change really is bittersweet. Clarisse, I am seriously going to miss you.

Special thanks to Anthony and Will for going to Bethel just to see us, and give me flowers.. When I saw them I couldn't help but turn almost completely red. Even if they knew that the campus supervisors would kick them out, they still went ahead and took the risk.

Youth tonight. I get to see BFF #2 after quite some time :)

My bestfriend spits fire

Will and George were texting me today during their rap battle, deciding to neglect watching Shirley Temple in their science class.

Here are their verses. You decide, but I personally think this is a tough choice.

George-
I'm still in this game and I remain so lyrical
Pleasing God with my flow cause its so spiritual
Flows so hot and it remains so biblical
My flows so fresh spittin verses so mythical
My styles often intimidated
But haters just duplicate it
Y'all love me but they hate it
And when I make it there's goin hatred
I'm gon make it so face it
Devil tryin to take me down but I'm not gon take it

Will-
Errday I'm hustlin you see I gotta stack that cash
Man I met the finest chick we fished and caught some bass
Hop up in a benz and you know its a class
Pedal to the metal and I'm goin real fast
Gas break dip, drink a sip
Kiss my girl on the lip, yummy I like cheese dip
Oh yeah still in this game bruh
I hustle like those blonde girls duh
My flow is like ice with a little bit of spice
Just like powder puff I'm naughty and nice
I hustle with that dice for a living and kill mice
Just like my job I exterminate
But I say I sell ferraris on my first date

Hahaha tell me why Will's is hella funny to me. Maybe because I know he's Brazilian ahaha I know you're reading this bestfriend. You spit fire though, YEE.
